Students (academia) in underprivileged communities worldwide are faced with the issue of availability, accessibility, and affordability of high-quality resources necessary to succeed, leaving some students to resort to piracy and the use of second-hand materials. At the same time, many educational institutions in these communities' access to digital libraries are limited, making it difficult for students to access digital education content and resources. The few available campus-based libraries are outdated, limited in resources, and do not have the capabilities to provide services off-campus. This makes it difficult for students to explore academically, resulting in limited teacher-student interactions and academic success.
